Originally from France, Sebastien Jaunas has been a resident of Paekakariki since 2006. His work explores abstract sculpture, using mixed media, bronze, forged steel, ceramic and wood to create poetic, architectural forms exploring equilibrium, space and movement. Strongly influenced by found organic objects and the landscape of New Zealand he is also inspired by the urbanism and cultural life of cities. For more art works go to the Gallery.
